PDDCS film star

Congratulation to PDDCS member, Will Palmer, who has just starred in his first film “Dreaming of Peggy Lee“!

Dreaming of Peggy Lee is a short film (6 mins) about two Deaf children that escape their oppressive care home to sneak into a 1940’s jazz club in London.

“How did you get into acting?

Well it’s quite a fascinating story to be fair. I was with my Dad in London and we were watching Peggy Leea football match and then, suddenly, my Dad got a phone call from Ted Evans who was involved in making the film.

He told my Dad that they were looking for deaf kids that can act so I went to audition in London. I went to meet the director and I got the role and that’s it!”
